I Don't know how he did it. When I found out Boo Radley put a blanket on me during the fire, I didn't even notice. It was like some crazy phenomenon. So many questions were racing through my mind. How long was he behind me? What would of happened if I just turned around and saw him? Did anyone else see him? I wish I did. I know hes alive, and hes not so bad after all. He's sorta nice. I would give anything for him to be behind me again so I can actually see him. What a story to tell in class. The night was nuts full of crazy surprises. I just don't know how he did it.
Me and Jem were writing a letter to the mysterious person giving us gifts. I was sorta frightened to know who it was. At the same time I couldn't wait! We were going to give the letter to the tree in the morning. When we got there the tree was full of cement. Mr.Radley said he did it 'cause the tree was dying. Daddy says it's not dying at all, actually pretty healthy. I think Mr.Radley might be lying. He could be protecting someone maybe. I wonder, could it be, Boo Radley?
I know that it was Boo who put the blanket on Scout, he saw her standing in the cold and he felt the need to put the blanket on her. He really is a nice guy he just doesn't want people to see him for some reason, and I really wanna know why. I think that it is Boo who also putting things in the tree for Scout and I to find. I think he is giving us clues to some mystery about him that he wants us to figure out. I really want to know why Mr. Radley plugged the hole in wiht cement what was so wrong about us getting the gifts left in the tree? To me everything about the Radley's is a mystery and I'm determined to figure out this mystery.
ReplyDeleteWell I have a feelin' Boo Radley put the blanket over you, Scout. I didn't wanna tell you though cause' I didn't see him. I hope we get nother' chance to see em'. I really wanted to know who the person leavin' gifts in the tree was. I don't know why Mr. Radley filled up that hole with cement. He said it was cause' it was dyin', but I just think he didn't want us to have those gifts. He's like that, total bible man, foot-washin' baptist, like Miss Maudie said.
